Block Facebook/other website on your computer

  This tutorial will help you to block a specific website like Facebook.This will be useful if you want to prevent students/employees from accessing certain websites in colleges/offices.

1. First,run the Notepad program as administrator.                                                                      

2. Now you have to open a host file.Do this by clicking File > Open and browse through the following address C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc.

3. Then,Paste the following code below # 127.0.0.1 localhost                                                       # Blocking Facebook
                       127.0.0.1 login.facebook.com
                       127.0.0.1 www.facebook.com  

   To block other websites,just replace the facebook url to their respective url's.
   
   Now, Save the host file.Try opening that website.......It won't open.
